Kickstarter Update #4: 27%! Creeping Up!

Wow, this is a wild ride and a ton of work. I really, truly appreciate all of your support! It is what is keeping me going right now. It’s a marathon…keep on running… Well it feels like it, but really 25 days is going to be over in a snap. So we are currently creeping up at 27% with 14 days remaining!

I am still hopeful that we can hit 40% by March 25th! The trajectory is a little low for that right now, so any additional help would be a great boost! (Read more here…)

Here is the current list of 47 backers (minus those who preferred to remain anonymous). I am grateful to each one of you and your pledge! Thank you!

Darin, where are you getting the corn fro, and what are you doing with the remainder not used if your installation happens?

Hi Doug, thanks for your question. I am still trying to find the corn currently. I think I have an offer, but I am waiting for the final contact. Depending on what type of corn I get will depend on what I do with it after the exhibition is over. Of course it was pointed out by another interested party that unless labeled no one will know if it is GMO or not, and I find this to be fascinating. I am offering seed packets on the Kickstarter project and at the exhibition, but that will be a minimal amount of corn. I have thought returning the corn if the loaner wants it back, or about donating the corn to something worthwhile. Do you have a thought? Of course I would appreciate it if you went to the Kickstarter project and donated $1 which will automatically update you on status and give you insider reports. You could post your question there to be in the FAQ section at the bottom of the page. Thank you! Darin

Doug, A little slow in responding, but I ended up giving 1000lbs of feed corn away to locals to feed animals.
